As we look ahead to 2025, Black business owners have an array of exciting conferences to choose from that offer networking, education, and growth opportunities. 1. AfroTech Conference
AfroTech Conference stands out as the largest Black tech conference of the year. Scheduled for November 13-16, 2024, in Houston, Texas, this event brings together over 20,000 Black tech innovators. The conference features multiple programming stages, an Expo Floor, recruitment opportunities, and various summits focused on health, environmental equity, and women’s issues. 2. H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference
The 52nd Annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference, taking place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, is a collaborative event organized by the African American Student Union (AASU) and the Black Investment Club (BIC). This flagship annual conference gathers Harvard Business School (HBS) alumni, current students, and other professionals for a full day of panels, keynote addresses, and social networking. The conference also features the Black New Venture Competition (BNVC), which is Harvard’s largest venture competition focused on Black pre-seed and seed stage entrepreneurs, offering them the opportunity to pitch their ventures for a chance to win significant funding.
